Pastor Alandus D. Sims, with an esteemed 31-year tenure in ministry, serves as a pivotal figure of spiritual leadership as the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church of Pine Hills, Orlando, Florida. Demonstrating exceptional dedication to his calling since the age of 18, Pastor Sims has made a profound impact on many, conveying powerful messages of faith, empowerment, and how humanity should respond to God's divine love and providence.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Divinity from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Pastor Sims applies a holistic approach to his ministry, reaching a diverse audience across various generational and socioeconomic backgrounds.
In 2018, Pastor Sims broadened his impact by venturing into the entrepreneurial world, founding Workforce Training Solutions Inc. As its CEO, he leads efforts to cultivate a highly skilled workforce, adept at adapting to the changing needs of industries. His pioneering strategy in workforce development—emphasizing apprenticeships and training programs—has notably fostered community development, fueled business expansion, and changed the trajectory of people's lives.
As President and CEO of the Economic Solutions Network, Pastor Sims is at the forefront of advocating for equitable economic development and educational achievement, paving the way for sustainable prosperity.
In his role as Strategic Partners and Community Projects Manager for the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), Pastor Sims leverages his 21-year experience by developing programs and partnerships which encourage broad-based economic prosperity and community support in the most disadvantaged zip codes in OUC’s service territory. His mission is to ensure access to OUC programs, and to improve the overall health and wellness of the community through the OUC Empowerment Zone Initiative. This initiative as to foster community engagement, inclusivity in OUC programs, and overall societal welfare through initiatives like the OUC Empowerment Zone Initiative.
His dedication to health equity is evident in his service on the board of directors at Shepherd’s Hope, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free acute and specialty care medical services, education, and wellness programs to uninsured and underinsured men, women, and children in Central Florida.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Pastor Sims is devoted to his family, sharing his life with his wife, Crystal Davidson-Sims, and their five daughters.
